Alison Watson (co-founder) - the mother.
She has a degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester and over 30 years' HR experience, working in a variety of industries including; engineering/manufacturing supplying into automotive and pharmaceutical industries, food manufacturing, local government and entertainment/leisure. Alison has worked as a generalist HR Manager in both stand-alone and head of HR team positions in small (including green field start-up businesses) and medium sized enterprises, most unionised, as well as larger government organisations. She has operated at both a strategic and operational (hands-on) level and has many years’ experience of recruitment at all levels, training interventions and managing the performance life cycle of employees through company specific procedures based on up-to-date employment legislation. Alison was born and bred in the East Midlands so is passionate about using her hands-on accumulated knowledge and expertise to providing honest, reliable, value-added support to SME's in and around the region. Having worked as a counsellor for the Samaritans in the past she is currently working on her personal development by studying for a hypnotherapy and counselling course which she hopes will enable her to offer additional "well-being" services in the near future. Alison spends her spare time gardening, dancing and singing (not all at the same time!).
Stephanie (co-founder) - the daughter.
She has a first class degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool and over 7 years' HR & Ops experience working across the Retail and Hospitality industry. Stephanie's experience has been primarily working for large FMCG multi-national organisations where she has taken on a variety of senior HR roles and fine tuned her leadership skills whilst managing teams of between 3 - 12 people. She has expertise in a variety of HR disciplines including; talent acquisition; employee relations and engagement; performance life-cycle; reward; learning and development and apprenticeships. Her significant operations experience , has strengthened her commercial acumen and means she is acutely aware of the need to balance the people needs alongside of the business and customer. Originally from London, she has recently relocated to Lausanne, Switzerland with her husband. Whilst her mother tongue is English, she is determined to be fluent French before long! Nothing is too much for Stephanie; she is extremely personable and works hard to get things just right. When Stephanie isn't working, she spends much of her spare time travelling, catching up with friends and family, and attempting to keep fit.
